Durham-based Synergy Commercial Advisors has been selected by Capitol Broadcasting to take over the selling and leasing of American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham.
The leasing efforts will be led by Mac Hammer and Doug Cook of Synergy. Synergy scarcely doubled the ranks of brokers last year, adding four, together with Cook, for a sum of nine.
CB Richard Ellis had formerly rubbed leasing for the American Tobacco Complex, that was grown by Capitol Broadcasting, the Raleigh-based owners of WRAL-TV.
Among the companies reportedly deliberation opening offices in the formidable is Valeant Pharmaceuticals, a California drug builder that is partnering with Glaxo Smith Kline on an initial epileptic fit drug.
